This course equips school nurses with the clinical knowledge and practical strategies needed to manage the youth vaping epidemic within the school environment. Participants will examine the latest e-cigarette trends and physiological impacts on the developing brain, with a specific focus on identifying devices and treating nicotine withdrawal. The curriculum emphasizes evidence-based screening tools, non-punitive intervention techniques, and the coordination of cessation resources to support student health and academic success. This program offers school nurses asynchronous recorded content to be viewed when convenient for them.
