The purpose of this program is to provide nurses with advanced education on diagnosis and management of the school aged Child with ADHD. The opportunity for school nurses to learn about different types of ADHD and their treatment, and how to recognize and learn more about the comorbidities in children with ADHD is of utmost importance to their role as health care providers in the school system. The program will discuss the ADHD diagnosis process, school accommodations and treatment recommendations. The program will also discuss common comorbidities including anxiety, autism, sleep disorders, and learning disorders. This is a recorded program that offers school nurses asynchronous recorded content to be viewed when convenient for them.
