Pediatric Diabetes Update: Collaborating for Success in Diabetes Management Session 1: Type 1 Diabetes Core Concepts and Ketones, Hypoglycemia in Type 1 Diabetes, & T2DM in Children and Adolescents Course Length: 2.5 Hours This program was designed to advance the knowledge base of nurses and community providers when caring for pediatric patients with diabetes and the chronic health care issues connected with this disease. This training will include education on core concepts and treatment goals for type 1 and type 2 diabetes in children. The course will include lecture, panel discussions, case presentations, and Q&A to provide an optimal educational experience.
